Commemorating over the 20 years of the implementation of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), the UNCCD secretariat along with the Ministry of Environment in Japan and Tottori University organize an international symposium, “Combating Desertification: Towards Land Degradation Neutrality” on 7 February 2017 at the United Nations University in Tokyo, Japan.
