Civil Society

Civil society organizations such as church groups, farmer associations and advocacy groups play a key role in supporting EverGreen Agriculture awareness raising and capacity building efforts at a local and country level. The EverGreen Agriculture Partnership seeks to work with civil society organizations to mobilize public and private sectors to reach out and support our cause for building up the smallholder farmer and improving food security on our continent. Members of the Partnership are able to provide civil society organizations with technical support for policy reform, mainstreaming of EverGreen Agriculture into regional and subregional organizations, scaling up and impact efforts to support the adoption of EverGreen Agriculture technologies.
